What Can I Expect?

Dogwood Hills is a church which is made up of normal people like you. We're sinners who've been changed by Jesus, and we're everyday people who love Jesus and desire to walk with Him through everyday life.

If you're new to Dogwood Hills Baptist Church, you may wonder what to expect when you come meet with us.

What Should I Wear?

Come casual and comfortable. Most guys wear jeans on Sundays and Wednesdays with a button-up shirt, polo, or t-shirt. Most ladies wear jeans or dress pants on Sundays and Wednesdays with a variety of styles of tops. Yes, a few people wear dressier clothes while others wear shorts.

Do You Have Coffee?

On Sundays before Bible Study (which starts @ 9:30 a.m.), we have free coffee and donuts available in the fellowship hall (in the all brick building in front). Hang out there or bring it to your Bible Study group in one of our classes. Click here for our classes.

What Is Worship Like?

Dogwood Hills has a great time of worship led by a skilled band consisting of musicians on guitars, keyboards, bass, and drums. Dustin Willmott, our worship leader, leads us in new and old songs of worship @ 10:45 a.m. on Sundays, and, after 20+ minutes of singing, Dustin's dad, Pastor Kevin Willmott, brings a challenging message to us from the Bible.

Do I Have to Give Money?

Dogwood Hills is not asking for your money. Our offerings are opportunities for our members to give to provide for the expenses of the church and to help with other ministries with which we partner. We pass offering plates down the rows during worship on Sunday mornings to give members the opportunity to give, but please do not feel that it is necessary for you as a guest to give to our ministries.
