Children's Ministry
Dogwood Hills Children's Ministry has three main arms. Yeah, it has three arms, but kids like it that way. The three arms are TeamKID, Sunday Morning Bible Study, and Children's Church. In addition to these arms, we have some other supporting limbs such as VBS (vacation bible school), summer camp, and other events.
TeamKID
TeamKID is our weekly Wednesday evening program @ 6:30 p.m. which operates during most of the school year. It's full of games, Bible study, fun, and food. When TeamKID is not going on, we still have children's ministry activities on Wednesdays @ 7:00 p.m.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Each Sunday @ 9:30 a.m., our children are taught truths from God's word by caring adults. Come before worship and place your child in one of our classes and spend some time with some other adults in Bible study. (adult class options)
Nursery: 0-2 years (Room 133/135: Becky Dickson)
PreK-K: 3 yrs-Kindergarten (Student Ministry Center: Jennifer Willmott)
Early Elementary: 1st-3rd Grade (Room 131: Laura Akin)
Older Elementary: 4th-6th Grade (Room 125: Steve Webb)
Children's Church
Parents can easily get distracted by their little ones who get fidgety during the adult-oriented worship service. Dogwood Hills offers three classes for children which coincides with Sunday Morning Worship @ 10:45 a.m.
Nursery: 0-2 years (Room 133/135)
PreK Children's Church: 3-5 years (Student Ministry Center)
Children's Church: K-3rd Grade (Room 131)
